The ending’s a bit embellished, but the story is true. This woman at ***mart would not stop hazing me about the Mario stuff I was buying. My GF was furious, but not as much as I was.

Guys and gals!
I wasn’t totally happy with how the last panel of the latest comic came out, so I made something more dynamic. I’ll be selling this as a print at Magfest this year, which is a convention I outlined in a previous post!
This piece will also serve as the cover art for the next DMM volume, which will be out by early 2013, if all goes according to plan.
More despondency next week!
Halloween is approaching, people, and I’m getting into the spirit! Luigi was never my favorite Mario Brother (like with most people) but once he became a Ghostbuster in “Luigi’s Mansion,” I gained a lot of respect for him! Here is my tribute to both Luigi and the Ghostbusters with today’s piece titled “Luigi The Ghostbuster.”
This was really fun to draw, and I hope you enjoy it!
Here it is, everyone, robot of the day number eight: Robo from Chrono Trigger!
This marks the first ROTD that was inked digitally. It took longer than I thought it would (hence the delay) but I’m very happy with the results. What I did was draw the image with good old paper and pencil, then I scanned the drawing and used Photoshop to “ink” on a separate layer. It’s like using a light box to trace, but extra fancy. Here is the pencil drawing before I started inking it:
Chrono Trigger was my favorite video game as a kid, and it’s still one of my top favorite games of all time. Robo was a great character, and a more than worthy entry into my ROTD series.
On a related note, CT is now available on the Wii’s Virtual Console. Please spend the points and get yourself an awesome game from a simpler time in digital entertainment! You won’t be disappointed!
