MECAF was a complete success! I sold many a book and many a sitcker!
See that cool dude with all the books? That’s me!
I also did a bunch of sketches for kids at the show. Unfortunately I had to part with them in exchange for monies, but not before snapping some pictures!
After I did this doomtastic sketch, someone else asked for one:
And then another one! This one is my favorite!
I also signed each copy of Capek that I sold. I used a shinny silver paper for the inside cover, and it turned out to be a great place to sign the book!
It was a fantastic day and I already can’t wait for next year! In the meantime it’s time to decompress for a spell
These are drawings I did of characters from the cartoon series “Invader Zim.” These pieces are a few years old now, but I’m still really proud of them. My goal was to make them as true to the show as possible, and I think I succeeded.
Stay tuned for a new post tomorrow!
Our fourth robot of the day is none other than Gir from Invader Zim. I love this series and this character. Gir is an Irken S.I.R unit built from parts in the trash. He has a brain made from a gum ball and paper clips. He’s malfunctioning, crazy, and absolutely hilarious!
This was the easiest robot to draw so far. I have a lot of experience drawing Gir. My old Deviant Art page had tons of Invader Zim fan art. I’d never drawn his piggy before, though. I think it came out well!
Be sure you check out robot of the day number five on Wednesday. Number five? Maybe I should have put Johnny five on this day. Oh well!
