Hey all!
As promised, here is the 8th and final Reploid in the set: Sting Chameleon! Every drawing I see of him has his tongue out, so I thought I’d change it up a bit!
Sting Chameleon is © Capcom. Picture is 100% digital.
I FINALLY got this one inked and colored. The pencils were done and waiting for me since before Magfest.
Anyhoo, here is Flame Mammoth from Mega Man X. I think this is my favorite one so far.
4 down and 4 to go!
Flame Mammoth and all Mega Man characters are © Capcom. Art was done entirely on Wacom tablet. Pencils in Sketchbook Pro, and inks and coloring in Photoshop CS 5.5.
Greetings, all!
Here today is yet another robot from Mega Man X. Storm Eagle looks imposing, but he is a pushover as long as you have the Dash Boots.
I’ll be headed out to Magfest tomorrow afternoon. Storm Eagle will be available as a sticker like all the others. Hopefully I’ll have access to wi-fi so I can update everyone on the convention, but I make no promises
I do not own Mega Man or any of the subsequent characters. They are owned by Capcom. Long live Capcom!
Hey everyone!
I hope the holidays were as good for all of you as they were for me! Sorry I’ve been gone so long (especially after I promised all this great content!), but a lot of stuff came up these last few weeks that inevitably lead to low productivity. I’m finally feeling back on track, and have a brand new shinny robot for you all to see!
This is Chill Penguin from the Mega Man X series on Super NES. He’s the first “Reploid Master” that most players defeat, since he is the easiest. Nevertheless he is a pretty cool robot, and tougher than Sheep Man to be sure
I’ll be attending Magfest next week with fellow cartoonist Randall Drew, and I’ll be selling this illustration as a sticker. I’ll have a bunch of other stickers too (see my other robot posts for the complete list), and I’ll be drawing some more Mega Man X characters this week.
More soon!
As promised, here is today’s robot: one of the many turrets from Portal and Portal 2!
Sorry it’s not quite finished, but I’ve been super busy with .B00T and a few other projects (see tomorrow’s post). I will finish this when I have more time, but I wanted to make sure it was up today as I promised last week
What’s this? A new Robot Of The Day?
It’s true! I’m finally starting my Robot Of The Day segment back up again. While it will keep its title, it’s more accurate to call it Robot Of The Week, because I’ll be posting a new ‘bot every Wednesday. We’re starting things off right with R2-D2, one of the most famous robots of all time!
(Yes, I know he’s a driod, but hush up!)
And as a special treat, here are the B&W pen sketches I did to practice:
Power Puff Lea forever!
